Quote clearly
- State whether pricing is fixed, estimated or subject to inspection.
- List important inclusions, exclusions, parts and VAT where applicable.
- Give realistic availability and update it if circumstances change.
Providers using the platform are expected to give customers enough information to make a fair comparison and to represent their availability honestly.
Providers can quote on routine jobs after confirming their email, details, terms and insurance declaration. Quotes show when identity and insurance checks are pending. Full checks, including company registration where applicable, are required before paid acceptance and customer contact release. Urgent requests use providers with completed checks, and gas work also requires verified Gas Safe registration. Uploading a certificate is not independent verification. Notify the platform when a policy, registration or business detail changes, and use your private renewal link to submit updated insurance for review.
Read the job brief before quoting. State any access requirements, diagnostic charges and work that needs another specialist. Do not imply that a call-out price includes a repair unless that is what you are offering. If you cannot take a selected job, decline it rather than accepting work you cannot fulfil.
Use the contact page for platform complaints or concerns about a request. Include the reference, relevant dates and a concise explanation of what happened. Keep evidence needed for review and avoid sharing unrelated customer information.
